M6/M9 are all players developed based on Samsung Exynos 7270 master chip, running a deeply customized Android 7.0 system.
Exynos 7270 is a highly integrated chip, which contains two A53 cores with a running frequency of 1.0G. It uses POP on-chip three-dimensional packaging technology to integrate a 768M RAM and a 4G Flash chip into one chip, and cannot expand the memory through external chips.
Feiao uses this chip, the main purpose is to find a master control chip with sufficient performance, low power consumption and small size. Whether it can support the intelligent operating system, whether it can access the Internet and run various third-party APP smoothly is not the primary consideration. Because the main control chip that can do this at present, even without considering the development cycle and investment, is much higher than Exynos 7270 in terms of volume, power consumption and cost. So you can also see that apart from Feiao, no other brand can make similar products at this price.
Therefore, the first limitation is that the system performance of M6/M9 does not support real multitasking operations. Secondly, M6/M9 does not support some APP that requires large operating memory and requires fast master operation. Finally, as the positioning of M6/M9, we have carefully not exaggerated its performance and support for third-party APP in both publicity and recommendation.

1. Does Feiao not open the third-party APP because it wants to promote its own Feiao music?
A: Feiao is a brand that relies entirely on the research, development, production and sales of hardware equipment. Feiao Music is a free application, and FiiO Music integrated on M6/M9 and FiiO Music on Android market are two completely different apps. And M6/M9 also supports some third-party APP, so this guess is not valid.
2. How does Feiao consider which third-party apps can be added to the whitelist?
A: First, the third-party APP can meet the requirements of basic smooth operation and normal function use; Second, the third-party APP will not start the service and stay in the background after exiting, otherwise it will slow down the system operation. Third, the third-party APP is the mainstream streaming media and tool application.
3. Why can't some streaming media apps such as Apple Music that meet the above conditions be installed?
A: At present, Apple Music cannot log in to its account after installation. This problem is a Samsung platform problem that has been submitted to Samsung for handling and will be opened for installation after being solved. In addition, the currently open streaming media applications are mainstream streaming media applications in various countries obtained through consultation with agents in various countries. 4. Why only mainstream streaming media or tool APP?
A: Because if we want to add an APP to the whitelist, we need to do a lot of tests to avoid program crashes or some problems that affect use. At the same time, different users have different evaluations on whether an APP can run smoothly on M6/M9. If we join the white list, it means that we are responsible for the normal operation of the APP on M6/M9. Therefore, limited to the input of resources, we cannot do this. 5. Are third-party apps on the whitelist authorized?
A: Whitelist is only a mechanism that allows third-party APP to be installed on M6/M9, not a pre-installed program. All pre-installed third-party apps are authorized. Whether the others are authorized or not has nothing to do with Feiao.
