Therefore, I once joked that I would install a Himalayan APP for this FiiO M7 in my hand to listen to songs, books and jokes. FiiO M7 does use a deeply customized Android system, which can definitely meet the requirements of such strange users in theory, but users cannot press third-party APP. I don't know if FiiO officials will also do a tutorial on installing third-party APP like OPUS in the future. This is also considered Pratt & Whitney HIFI sentient beings. It is the ultimate meaning of HIFI manufacturers to do good deeds and accumulate virtue and seek welfare for the majority of enthusiasts.

FiiO M7 is subversive. The HOME key and the return key are canceled at the bottom of the whole screen. The return virtual key is designed in the upper left corner of the interface, sliding upward from the lower left area of the screen to return to the upper level, and sliding upward from the lower right side of the bottom of the screen to return to the main menu. FiiO M7 has added a thoughtful prompt to the initial startup setting interface of the machine. If you look through the process, it will be easy to get started. FiiO M7 system is simple and smooth. The main interface is clear at a glance. Feiao Music, Radio, File Manager, Gallery, Technical Support and Settings are prominently arranged on the main interface. Of course, you don't want to format the TF card through the machine itself, because you can't find this setting through the menu. Of course, you don't want to scan songs through the setup page, because this function is intimately designed in Feiao Music APP. All you need to do is turn on Feiao Music and tap the setting button, and you will find various settings such as timing off, scanning songs, memory playing, seamless playing, folder jumping, automatic update, etc. EQ adjustment, playing sequence, list, deletion and other operations can be realized in the playing interface. It is worth mentioning the EQ adjustment of M7. The designer has designed a beautiful icon for each sound effect. Objectively speaking, the operation interface of M7 is very intuitive and easy to use. No matter which interface you stay in, you will have a very familiar and natural feeling. You can even know how to toss this small machine without looking at the instructions. This is my personal favorite interactive experience.

FiiO M7 is due to the application of Samsung Exynos 7270 with 14nm technology. It has a built-in FPGA to clock the digital signal output by Exynos 7270. As a semi-customized circuit, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) can provide a variety of embedded SRAM, high-speed I/P, transceiver, module, etc. The FPGA of M7 contains independent active double crystal oscillator, which can accurately restore the clock and solve the jitter problem of audio digital signal.

M7 uses a 9018Q2C chip, which integrates DAC, earmuff and transmission selection functions. M7 can support audio files with sampling rates as high as 192kHz/24BIT and DSD64 (hardware decoding). M7 supports APE/WAV/FLAC/AIF/DSD/M4A/WMA/OGG/ALAC/MP3 audio formats common in the market, and supports CUE encoding, which can easily split the whole track audio.

M7 also uses an independent FM chip Si4705, and innovatively adds a radio function to the player. Headphones can be used as antennas to receive 76MHz ~ 108MHz FM broadcasts.

TYPE-C interface can realize USB AUDIO, file transfer and charging functions. Unfortunately, FiiO M7 does not support QC2.0, QC3.0 and PD fast charging protocols. However, it only takes 2.5 hours for the 1880mAh battery to be fully charged with 5V/2A, which is enough for ordinary users in my personal opinion..

may be subject to cost. FiiO M7 only has 2GB of built-in storage space, but it supports the expansion of a single TF card with a capacity of up to 512GB. For the consumer group of thousand-dollar players, most people will buy a TF card with a capacity of 32-64GB. The 512GB expansion is equivalent to the existence of the ceiling. For most consumers, they will not accept the cruel reality that cards are more expensive than machines, and naturally they will not buy 512GB cards.

I personally value this machine's support for Bluetooth format. The Samsung Bluetooth chip used by FiiO M7 supports Bluetooth 4.2 version. In addition to supporting 24bit Bluetooth aptX-HD coding, it also supports SONY LDAC wireless transmission. LDAC has increased the transmission volume by 3 times compared with ordinary Bluetooth. Although I seldom use SONY audio products, it is strongly recommended that friends with SONY Bluetooth headsets try it.

Unfortunately, FiiO did not apply the "fully balanced" architecture launched in the past two years to M7. I believe that some users with limited budgets will struggle with the choice of X3 MKIII and M7. The price of the two is the same, each has its own length, depending on what you need more. I prefer M7 more in control and interaction experience.

In short, FiiO M7 has an extremely clean sound background, black enough, pure enough, bottomless noise, regular sound field and musical instrument positioning, balanced and natural distribution of three frequencies. The player at this price has excellent sound level and details. Even if there is no 2.5MM balance structure and output, its sound field and separation degree are hard to find.

DUNU Falcon

I have been listening to DUNU's falcon intermittently for a long time, and the feeling of high frequency stimulation has disappeared. The front end of M7 brings loose and surging low-frequency performance to this earphone. Dayin Falcon has excellent low-frequency strength and flexibility. With M7, the strength is lacking compared with several other 2000-5000 yuan players that I usually use, but the good low-frequency atmosphere and speed feeling can still leave a deep impression on people. The vocal density is moderate, sweet and emotional. The high frequency is transparent and bright, and the dental sounds of individual voices perform just right after the machine is burned. The sound details of this set of collocation are rich and informative, which is worthy of recognition. Of course, the M7 cannot fully stimulate the potential of this headset.

HZSOUND HZ5

is still a combination of outstanding transient performance. HZSOUND HZ5 is not expensive, but of extraordinary quality. This set of collocation is excellent for vocal detail and clarity. Low frequencies have good cohesion and strength performance, and flexibility is naturally not lacking. The rigidity of the beryllium diaphragm makes the overall sound powerful and has excellent high-frequency extension. This set of matching sound field is moderate, with excellent separation and resolution. The sound level and details are natural and delicate at this price. Of course, if the sound thickness is increasing a little, it will be even better. May wish to change the catheter or mediate EQ, there may be surprises.

Shengdi SENDIY M1221

SENDIY M1221 can be said to be a good plug neglected by the market. Its innovative use of coaxial ring iron composite unit in domestic headphones. However, because there was no publicity, not many people knew about this earphone. Like HZ5, M1221 is also an earphone that can replace catheters. The balanced catheter is selected with M7 listening, and the low frequency retains the appropriate degree of relaxation and good atmosphere, sonorous and powerful and not sloppy. I am more satisfied with the sound thickness of this match, especially the vocal performance, which is slightly thicker than the previous two. Men and women eat all, and the details and emotional performance are outstanding. Used to listen to DIANA KRALL, the sound is stable enough, the details are enough, and it has a slightly sweet charm. The transient performance of piano, guitar and other instruments is extremely excellent. The high frequency is bright and transparent, but because of the overall sound style, the high frequency does not appear too aggressive. The sound field is moderate and the positioning is regular. It is used to listen to some small and medium-sized scenes. Pop, rock, human voice and instrumental music can bring good listening experience.
