5. K11 signal input, output, gain description

[Input supported by K11]

K11 supports USB, Coaxial input, Optical input, a total of 3 input methods, by clicking the volume knob to enter the working mode menu for switching working mode.  (The K11 could remember the selected input mode still after restart.)

[Output supported by K11]

USB input mode: supports coaxial out, rear panel line-out, front panel 6.35mm single-ended headphone output and 4.4 balanced headphone output

Optical/Coaxial input mode: supports rear panel line-out, front panel 6.35mm single-ended headphone output and 4.4 balanced headphone output

[Output selection]

PO: Front panel headphone output, adjustable volume

LO: Rear panel line-out, adjustable volume

Note:

1.Quickly switch output: On the homepage, double press the volume knob with physical button to immediately switch between PO and LO.

2.The coaxial output only works in USB mode. In optical/coaxial decoding mode, coaxial outputs no signal.

[Which gain should I use when using headphones]

K11 supports three levels of gain, toggle switch adjustment, respectively L/M/H, the corresponding gain is 0dB/4dB/10dB.

The gain adjustment needs to be determined according to your earphones. It is recommended to use H gain for high impedance headphones, M gain for normal impedance headphones, and L gain for low impedance headphones. After switching the gain, the output power doesn't change, but the volume level will change. It is designed in order to avoid excessive volume/popping noise after gain switching and to improve the listening experience.

Note: Gain is invalid in LO output mode.
