6. How to use Q15 to connect to computer in USB mode?

Q15 can be used as a computer DAC. In UAC 2.0 mode, it can support 768K/DSD512. UAC 1.0 mode can support up to 96k.

 

Desktop mode: When the switch is switched to the "ON" state, the Q15 can be used as a desktop decoder. At this time, the power is greater, and the charger cannot charge the Q15 battery. When the switch is switched to the "OFF" state, the Q15 can be used as a desktop decoder. Mode release

Note: To protect the battery, when the Q15 is shut down due to low battery, it will be forced to charge.

 

Q15 USB mode usage tutorial:

  1. Switch the Q15 knob to USB, short press the knob to enter USB decoding mode

  2. Use a USB data cable to connect the computer and Q15, and connect the Q7 output port to headphones or speakers.

  3. After the corresponding output is set in the playback software, Q15 lossless decoding of the audio source transmitted from the computer can be achieved.

 

【Windows computer】

When using the Q15 UAC 1.0 mode, there is no need to install the driver on the computer. After connecting to the computer, you can select and set the corresponding sound output device.

MAC OS computers do not need to install drivers, just select and set the corresponding sound output device.

Due to system reasons, the output sampling rate of Apple computers will not automatically adapt to the song. You need to go to Midi to change the system output sampling rate.
