The key precautions for upgrading the firmware of Feiao BTR3

released the BTR3 firmware upgrade on May 30. Some users did not pay attention to the comments on our upgrade, and the upgrade was abnormal due to operation errors. Therefore, our engineers optimized the BTR3 firmware upgrade tool and simplified the installation of Bluetooth driver.

We recommend that all BTR3 users who plan to upgrade firmware follow the following steps and use the following firmware upgrade package to upgrade.

Before upgrading, prepare for the following steps:

1.BTR3 firmware upgrade package (including Bluetooth driver, upgrade tool and upgrade file):Click to download

2. if the Bluetooth driver has been installed on the computer before, it is recommended to uninstall "CSR BlueSuite 2.6.4" (control panel-> program-> uninstall program) through the control panel of the computer. If it has not been installed, this operation can be ignored directly.

the preparation work, here are three steps to teach you to upgrade BTR3.

1. decompress the upgrade package and install the driver

Decompress the downloaded BTR3 firmware upgrade package. The decompressed file is shown in the following figure. (Note that all files must be decompressed before the program can run normally)

After decompressing, double-click to run the "Install Driver. bat" file. If the file has been successfully run before, you can skip this step directly. After about one minute, the following figure appears in the pop-up window. If there is no error message, the driver has been installed. You can press any key or close this window to end the program.

2. set BTR3 to enter DFU mode, and then connect BTR3 to the computer through the original Type-C data cable

BTR3 enters DFU mode: After starting the machine, press the "Play/Pause" button for about 5 seconds until the red and blue flash state enters the pairing mode;

At this time, press and hold the "Volume" and "Play/Pause" buttons at the same time until the indicator light goes out for about 5 seconds, which will enter DFU mode.

3. run DfuWizard and upgrade firmware
