Feiao is undoubtedly one of the leading audio IPs in the industry at present. Whether it is brand value, actual sales volume, breadth and depth of channels, it is already a large volume and high commercial value of almost "out of circle" level in HIFI industry. It has stable performance in product interaction experience and hardware parameters, and the tuning level is also very family-inherited. In this niche HIFI market, to say who dares to think that he has the ability to make the cake bigger, then Feiao must dare to clap his chest and stand up, and in fact, from the hard power of their product form and channels, they are indeed practicing this.

Is it time to say but?......

First of all, I came into contact with Feiao relatively late. When I was burning, I bought many of them from big factories, but I probably heard most of his players and earphones. As a small transparent 18-line blogger, although I have not established any commercial cooperation relationship with Feiao, they will send products to me one after another from 2019 onwards. I am quite sorry to Feiao. However, the tuning has been criticized all the time, and there has been almost no discussion among high-end enthusiasts. The more common adjectives are "plain boiled water", "digital sound" and "dull and tasteless". Although the phrase "migrant worker tuning" is more, but one thing I agree with is that in the past, Feiao's products often did not have aesthetic feeling in terms of sound, or lacked musicality, and could not see the music concept and orientation of the tuner.

, starting from M11Pro, Feiao got on THX's car. THX's products are mainly for home cinemas and professional fields. The sound field should be one of the few places that still have some regrets on the whole. The depth is not enough, and the horizontal marginal feeling is more obvious. On the premise that the balance port can leapfrog and play strange games, the performance of the single port can only be said to be unsatisfactory, the dynamic performance is not qualified, the overall density and intermediate frequency layering are seriously reduced, and there is an extra sense of boredom between reverberation and standing, at this time, M11Pro will perform better for male voices and have a better sense of on-the-spot atmosphere when listening to popular and Live tracks, but the overall situation is already relatively weak and vague.

speaking of M15, when it was released, I was really worried that Feiao would overturn. After all, AK4499EQ is a new flagship DAC. It does not have a mature plan like AK4497EQ, nor does it invite AKM official engineers to participate in the research and development like AK. Considering the performance of M11 as the first batch of machines to use AK4493EQ at that time, the advent of M15 inevitably makes people expect and worry.

In my personal eyes, M15 is a delicate and durable machine. Its appearance is a bit passer-by, but its workmanship is quite solid. Although many people say that its waist line is like black brick, compared with the waist line, I think it is more like a thickened and rounded version of the world. However, although M15 is mentioned in the previous article as a thick sound player, it still has no "lasting appeal" and does not have obvious moisturizing feeling like seashells R6pro. The overall taste is still so straightforward, plain and light, not mellow or dry, there are more natural and loose expressions in reverberation and overtones.

I believe Feiao must have made a lot of efforts in the tuning of M15, and we can also experience it from this sound style, but we can still feel that Feiao still lacks a better understanding of some serious songs, even if I am not a classical fan. M15 has no obvious mark of elevation in the atmosphere of high-frequency part, but it has certain distortion to the timbre of high-frequency instrumental music, which is mainly reflected in the control of brightness and energy sense. The timbre of both woodwind and brass music is too bright, and the resonance details cannot be well presented and cannot be naturally integrated into the overall arrangement. This point may be particularly magnified when matching earplugs with their high-frequency brightening earplugs. Although we often say that matching requires complementarity, the accuracy of instrumental timbre should be the most basic part of the sound, just like Noble's Khan is a recognized very exciting plug, but its thorns mainly come from the sense of energy, not the out-of-control timbre. Although the problem of M15 in high-frequency timbre is not very serious, Xu Dawei only described it as "slightly exciting", but as a player defined as "flagship", I still have higher expectations for it.

M11Pro is a masterpiece of Feiao's family tuning over the years. It is impeccable in terms of (balance mouth) quality. I even think it is worth buying more than M15. However, M15 is Feiao's most "hard-core" stacking product. I still want to reiterate that I agree that stacking and stacking are innocent, but M15 is so cruel, it is still unable to go to positive PK with SP2K in sound cultivation, but it has incomparable advantages in thrust. It can definitely be called the annual masterpiece of the players in 2020. The sound change of M15 and the existing slot points can explain this problem. The sound is thick but not "alcohol" enough, and the pile is enough. However, when serving small earplugs, the high frequency still lacks some "punctuality".

We all tease AK often "firmware tuning", but there is no denying that people can really use digital filters to realize the "aesthetic feeling" of timbre. This is not something that can be piled up. The accumulation of Kaiyin, which is also an old big factory, in the simulation part for so many years also enables them to truly continue to faithfully express the "bravery" when they switch to the portable player market. Feiao may be a strong point in the digital, however, emotional enthusiasts will not be simply moved by the boards drawn by senior engineers. However, if Feiao thinks that the current sound style does not need to be changed, then I respect their persistence.
