FiiO Feiao X7 Mark II Portable Smart Audio Player Disassembly Atlas
Feiao released the X7 MarkII player in July this year. Compared with the X7 generation product a year ago, it basically keeps the overall architecture unchanged and has upgraded or adjusted the details and main core hardware. As shown in the picture, the appearance size of the X7 MarkII is similar to that of the first-generation X7, but the color and craftsmanship of the sides and bottom, as well as the surface of the shell are different. Especially on the side, the X7 MarkII uses the scroll wheel and unique lines used for the first time on the X5III, while on the other side is a Cato-style MicroSD card slot. X7 MarkII is fully compatible with the first-generation X7 earpiece module, but decorative sheets are made on the side panels, which not only play a fixing role, but also keep consistent with the rollers and decorative lines on the same side. The X7 MarkII main control chip and operating system inherit the configuration and design of X5III, and RK3188 is the main processor. In terms of DAC chips, X7 is upgraded to ESS ES9028PRO. X7 MarkII comes standard with AM3A ear module, which provides 3.5mm unbalanced and 2.5mm balanced output functions, but the built-in circuit and amplifier are quite different from AM3. More changes in X7 MarkII will be discussed in the following evaluation. It is planned to release the first part of X7 MarkII evaluation on August 31.
