15. K13 R2R DC & AC Power Supply Instructions

The K13 R2R supports both DC and AC power supply methods. When switching, please remember to switch the power supply switch on the rear panel:

AC Power Supply: The K13 R2R's power adapter supports AC input voltages ranging from 100V to 240V.

DC Power Supply: The standard power supply comes with K13 R2R is 12V 2.5A. A 12V 3A power supply can be used as well. For daily music listening, a 12V 2A power supply like the FIIO Linear Power Supply PL50 is sufficient. Only when playing a 0dB sine wave to test maximum output power requires a 12V 2.5A or higher power supply. Using other power supplies may affect sound quality or parameters differently.

Can adapters exceeding 12V be used?

No. The K13 R2R only supports 12V power input. It incorporates an overvoltage protection chip that automatically disconnects the system from the power source when voltage exceeds 13V.
