2. BEATBOX usage precautions

1.DIY faceplate dimensions & magnet position diagram note:

N52 round high-strength magnets are 7mm in diameter and 2mm thick. The custom DIY faceplate is recommended to be attached over the base panel.

Mark A: Infrared receiver position. Transparent ink printing is suggested here; otherwise, remote control functionality may be impaired.

Mark B: Four positions for affixing round magnets. Confirm magnet orientation and polarity before installation.

2.The output volume in CD Mode is lower than Bluetooth mode?

This is normal. To deliver purer audio signals and richer details during CD playback, the output amplitude is intentionally reduced. Simply readjust the volume to your preference after switching to CD mode.

3.Distorted sound or automatic shutdown at low battery level?

When the battery level is low, the power supply may not be stable. It may cause loss of audio or sudden shutdown when turning up the volume. This is a built-in battery protection mechanism to prevent over-discharging. If you notice abnormal sound or low battery, please power off the unit and charge promptly to extend battery lifespan.

4.Occasional disc skipping at high volume

Skipping during loud, dynamic tracks is usually caused by physical vibration interfering with laser head reading. To improve playback stability, lower the volume slightly or place the unit on a firmer, flatter surface.

5.Slight system operation latency

Minor delays may occur when switching tracks, navigating menus, or waking from standby due to hardware limitations. Please wait patiently and avoid rapid consecutive button presses.

6.Correct way to hold the unit

Do not grip the middle CD compartment or press the faceplate above the CD, as this may deform the cover and disrupt CD playback. Support the unit from both sides or the bottom and handle gently.

7.Disc handling & cleaning

Hold discs only by the edges when inserting or removing; avoid touching the reflective data side with your fingers. Scratched or stained discs are more prone to skipping at high volume. Wipe discs regularly with a dedicated cleaning cloth.

8.Do not block the bottom bass port

The large rounded opening on the bottom of the device is the speaker bass vent. Always keep it unobstructed. Do not insert any objects into the vent, as this may damage internal components or create safety hazards.

9.Charging & battery maintenance

Charge the device using the original charger or a charger with matching specifications. Avoid charging in extremely hot or cold environments (e.g., direct sunlight, freezing locations). If the unit will not be used for an extended period, complete a full charge and discharge cycle every 1 to 2 months to effectively extend battery service life.

10.Shock resistance & storage recommendations

The device contains precision optical components inside; avoid violent shaking or impacts. When not in use, store it in a dry, well-ventilated, dark location. For long-term storage, remove the disc and place the unit in a dustproof bag for proper safekeeping.
