8. How to upgrade the QX11 firmware?

The QX11 supports two upgrade methods:

① Connect to a phone and upgrade through FiiO Control. (Only Android phone connection is supported for upgrading.)

② Connect to a computer and upgrade through the FIIO CONTROL WEB page.

Specific steps are as follows:

Method ① Upgrade through FiiO Control:

1. Download and install the latest version of the FiiO Control software on an Android phone.

2. Use an OTG data cable to connect to the phone and open FiiO Control.

3. Add the QX11 device to enter the control page.

4. When new firmware is detected, a pop-up will automatically appear asking whether to upgrade the firmware. Tap confirm to upgrade, and the OTA upgrade will proceed. After the QX11 upgrade is successful, it will automatically restart.

5. For local upgrade in FiiO Control, enter the FiiO Control control interface, select Settings - Upgrade - Local Upgrade, download the latest QX11 firmware from the official website to your phone, select the firmware to upgrade, and the QX11 will automatically restart after the upgrade is complete.

Method ② Upgrade through FIIO CONTROL WEB page

1. Connect the QX11 to the computer.

2. Open the FIIO CONTROL WEB page on the computer: click to enter the control interface.

3. On the page, select Configuration, then select Firmware Upgrade.

4. When there is a firmware upgrade, select Upgrade, and in the pop-up select USB 2.0, then wait for the upgrade to complete and the QX11 to automatically restart. Note: During the upgrade process, do not unplug the USB cable. Try to place it on a desk while upgrading and do not touch it to avoid upgrade failure.

What should I do if the upgrade is interrupted or fails?

If the above methods result in an upgrade failure, and the device cannot turn on normally, and neither the phone nor the computer can recognize the device, you can follow Method ② to open the FIIO CONTROL WEB page, press and hold the QX11 multi-function button while connecting it to the computer USB, then release the multi-function button, and continue the upgrade.
