17. QX11 inline remote and microphone usage instructions

Does the QX11 support inline remote?

Yes, the QX11's 3.5mm headphone jack supports CTIA protocol inline remote, supports volume adjustment and play/pause control via the inline remote. The game mode supports the inline microphone.

About the Microphone

• The microphone function is only available in Game Mode.

• When using the 4.4mm headphone jack, you can also switch to Local mode to use the built-in microphone.

QX11 Microphone Settings

In the QX11 menu, you can switch between the external (headset) microphone and the built-in microphone.

• Auto: When a CTIA-compliant inline-control earphone is plugged in, the device automatically selects the inline microphone. When the earphone is unplugged or a non-inline-control earphone is plugged in, it automatically switches back to the built-in microphone.

• Inline: The inline microphone is selected. When the inline-control earphone is unplugged, the device will not automatically switch back to the built-in microphone.

• Local: The built-in microphone is selected. Even when a CTIA inline-control earphone is plugged in, the device will continue to use the built-in microphone instead of the inline one.
