FiiO EA13 Review

Let’s cut to the chase: the FiiO EA13 is the best amplifier I’ve had in my living room in a very long time, and one of my biggest crushes of the year.

Sonically, it does what a good tube amp should – dense, full-bodied, generous in the mids, smooth up top – at a price where it shouldn’t be possible: €769,99 for six tubes, real output transformers, pure Class A, and enough power to drive a pair of JBL 4435 to monstrous levels without a hint of saturation. I like my Musical Fidelity A1’s but, for €1,000 less, the EA13 took over and I haven’t looked back since.µ
