3.Any limites to the number of file/subdirectories

A: Number of files / subdirectories under one folder is limited to:    2000 in the case of NTFS filesystem; 65536 in the case of FAT32 filesystem.


    Note: the limitation is firmware related in the case of NTFS whereas for FAT32 65536 is the hard limit imposed by the filesystem.
    The limitation regarding subdirectory depth (imposed by the filesystem in both cases) is that the length of a path plus the name of a file in the innermost directory must not exceed 256 characters.
