K17's EQ is a hardware implementation. When turning on or off the EQ, the system needs to do the initialization of the DSP chip, as well as power off, switching the audio path and other processing, in order to avoid the impact of sound and other impact on the experience, so there will be mute processing. The EQ of the player is purely realized by software algorithm with no hardware involved, so there will be no sound interruption when switching.

[Can the EQ parameter files exported by the Windows version the DSP and the MAC DSP be shared?]

It can be shared, the files exported from both systems are cross-recognizable for use. And you can also share this file with other users, and the EQ parameter files of K17 and K17 can also be shared.

[Is EQ valid for all modes?]

1. EQ is valid in all input modes.

2. EQ is invalid in SDPIF output modes and valid in all other output modes (LO/PRE/PO).

[Web control PEQ]

1.Connect the K17’s rear RS232 USB port to your computer using a USB cable.

2.Access the PEQ web control link:https://fiiocontrol.fiio.com/ Click "Connect" in the top right corner and select "Serial Port"- "K17". Then select corresponding port device in the pop up window to establish the connection.

3.Adjust PEQ parameters as needed.

Note: 1. Only windows and Macos system support web control; (Android or ios system does not support)

2. Please use Chrome, Edge, Opera and other browsers which support Web HID API to control properly.
