Designed for the music enthusiast, the FiiO Music App not only contains a user interface that allows easier and more exhaustive ways to manage your music, but also contains an exclusive decoding algorithm for the highest quality music playback possible.
*Android devices can control the M7K through Bluetooth
or Wi-Fi, Apple devices can only control through Wi-Fi
Getting your music just got a whole lot easier with the addition of Wi-Fi. With support for online streaming services, songs transferred over Wi-Fi OTA upgrades, and more, listening to your music has never been so painless.
Musical joy from wherever and whenever
Listen to the local flavors of music and programming wherever you go. The M7K’s dedicated FM chip, by using your headphones as an antenna to boost signal reception strength, is able to receive a broad range of 76MHz – 108MHz, which is essentially all of the possible spectrums used around the world. With the M7K, experience different stories around the world through your ears.
*Please insert your headphones into the M7K to enable FM functionality. The M7K will automatically search for available stations the first time you do so. Actual FM stations and content will vary around the world.

More storage in a time of more listening
Some may say that only having 2GB of built-in storage doesn't make sense, and that a company shouldn't even bother giving users such a paltry amount of storage. We at FiiO thought otherwise – even only 2GB of storage may be useful to people who only store a small amount of music and don't bother with micro SD cards or who just want as much space as they can get for their music. So we worked tirelessly to ensure that users had access to this 2GB without affecting system fluidity or stability. Of course, if you want access to your huge library you can do that too – the M7K supports up to a single 512GB micro SD card for storage expansion.

The latest in mobile device tech
The M7K contains an only 0.8mm thick 6-layer multi-stage HDI (high density interconnect) PCB, the same kind as used in the latest smartphones. Furthermore, we also employ blind and buried vias on the PCB, which allows the different components to work more closely in harmony, guaranteeing superior first-rate sound quality.
Within the core of the M7K lies the Sabre 9018Q2C chip by ESS, an SoC that neatly combines a high-performance DAC and headphone amplifier into one tiny package. The 9018Q2C saves space on the PCB, reduces power consumption compared to competing solutions, and all while delivering up to 49mW of output power.

All Bluetooth formats for true wireless fun
The M7K supports the 24-bit aptX-HD audio codec (and is also backwards compatible with aptX), allowing you to enjoy your music in high fidelity without the hassle of wires. In addition, the M7K also supports the LDAC wireless audio codec, which compared to ordinary Bluetooth audio transmits 3x the data for an unparalleled, truly high -resolution audio experience.
*As Bluetooth transmitter: LDAC/aptX/aptX HD/SBC (both natively from the player and through USB DAC)
*As Bluetooth receiver: SBC/LDAC
USB Audio: Stop spacing out, let's rock!
To give you even more ways to jam out to your music, FiiO’s software team toiled through countless days and nights to bring you USB audio digital output functionality on the M7. We recommend pairing the FiiO Q5 with the M7 either through USB or through Bluetooth for an excellent sound experience.
*In the music app, there is a new USB Audio DoP/D2P option
*This functionality requires the use of the FiiO CL06 Type C to Micro USB cable
The M7K utilizes the 14nm Samsung Exynos 7270, whose two ARM Cortex A53 cores use 20% less power than similar chips made on the 28nm process. This allows the M7K to not only give a fluid user experience, but to also give long battery life due to its power efficiency.
A Fully Modern Technological Core

Powered by the Exynos 7270, the M7K has its own specially customized OS system that’s focused on giving you a smooth, intuitive experience. While apps for popular streaming services are already pre-installed, the user can install other white-listed apps for even more ways to listen to music.
Fast yet simple deeply customized OS
Hi-Res Audio Certification
The M7K has been certified by the well-respected Japan Audio Society to be truly capable of "Hi-Res Audio", so you know you are getting great music on the go.
Live it up with different colors!
The exuberant M7K comes in black, silver, red, or blue, literally giving more color to your musical journey.
Can't faze this FPGA!
The M7K contains a specially-designed FPGA that adeptly handles the digital audio signals coming out of the Exynos 7270 SoC to the ESS 9018Q2C. Thanks to this FPGA, the M7K fully supports DSD no matter what file type it is contained in, whether it be ISO or DFF or DSF. And finally, the FPGA is also linked to the two crystal oscillators, so that music of any sampling rate is faithfully and accurately played back.
The M7K utilizes the widespread USB Type-C connector, making it easy to connect to either way due to the connector’s symmetric design. The Type C connector allows the M7K to be used as a USB DAC, to do USB Audio output, to be charged, and to transfer data with other computers.
Getting modern with USB Type-C
No sweat with decoding
The M7K supports up to 192kHz/24 bit PCM audio. As for audio file formats, among the supported are APE/WAV/FLAC/WMA/OGG/AAC/ALAC/MP3 as well as numerous others. Just put your music file into the M7K and play it!
Thoughtfully designed music app
The M7K’s music app has two carefully designed UI sets – Deep Black and Simplicity White – designed to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also to be immediately intuitive. And the main menu’s 6 icon interface gets you where you need to go quickly and easily. The battery meter with exact percentage shows you how much power you have left at a glance, and you can set notifications for low battery and low battery automatic shutdown.
A music player, but also a capable Bluetooth amplifier
When set to be in the Bluetooth receiver mode, the M7K transforms into a high-quality Bluetooth amplifier, with significantly better frequency response, as well as lower distortion, noise floor, and crosstalk compared to typical Bluetooth solutions. On top of that, the M7K can also output any received Bluetooth signals through the coaxial out to an external decoder. With the M7K, you can enjoy truly divine sound over the wireless convenience of Bluetooth.
Lying within the M7 is an 1880mAh battery that allows the device to have a play time of 20 hours or more, or a standby time up to a whopping 40 days! In the power-saving standby mode, you can instantly wake up the device to enjoy your music immediately whenever.
Why worry about charging with 40 days of standby time?
